Taxes

Steps for hiring me..

  • “Get in touch” button leads you to a short questionnaire that you may submit and I will reach out with confirmation that I received it.

  • Upon contacting you back, we may set up an interview to determine if it’s a good fit for the both of us.

  • You will provide a W2 form for me to fill out, which I’ve attached on the webpage called, “Forms to hire”.

  • Taxes are to be withheld from my earnings each pay period- Federal income (if applicable), State income (if applicable), Social Security, and Medicare.

    • Federal tax withholdings have to be agreed upon and are based on my Tax Bracket

    • State tax withholdings for cash wages of $3000 or more in 2026, range from 3.5 to 7.65% tax

      • You, as the employer, must be registered in WI as an employer through WI DOR. You will file state taxes quarterly (sometimes monthly) using a WT-6 form and -annually- using a WT-7 form, which I’ve attached on the page called, “Forms to hire”

    • Social Security & Medicare tax withholdings are paid for by both the Employer and Employee (Both parties pay the total 7.65% tax - 6.2% for Social Security and 1.45% for Medicare)

      • Employer and employee each pays a tax of 7.65% for Social Security & Medicare, with a combined tax total of 15.3%, every pay period.

  • In 2027, when you file your taxes, you will use the Schedule H form to find the total household employment tax withheld from the year 2026. This form is attached on the page called, “Forms to hire”

* For Tax Purposes *

You are the “employer”, I am the “employee”.
